On Staff is…
Regular, straightforward personal and professional development for church staff members – from entry-level roles to the top levels of leadership. If you don’t get intentional staff development right now, I hope this fills the gap. If your church does provide regular development, that’s awesome. This should be a good supplement.

Benson Hines is…
An incoming PhD student, focusing on churches as workplaces. A longtime church explorer (ask me about it sometime). I’ve had the joy of being able to say I’m “on staff” for the last 13+ years, at a couple of churches. (14 years of college ministry before that.)
I love the local church, even though (maybe like you), I’ve been bruised by some church experiences. I’m a big fan of those “on staff” along with me – wherever you serve. Working at a church can be wild. This is a chance to help each other grow, and to work for the Lord and not just for people.
I also follow Jesus in real life, and I’m a husband and dad in DFW, Texas. I’ll share more over time, and LinkedIn is one place to find me. benson@bensonhines.com works too.
